A few principles that have shaped how I lead, think and create.

01 — I begin by observing.

I don’t arrive with answers.

I arrive with curiosity.

I watch how people work, how they interact and where ideas become stuck. I listen more than I speak because understanding always comes before action.

02 — I make ideas tangible.

Some people think by talking.

I think by making.

Whether it’s a sketch, a wall of ideas, a prototype or a simple visual, I make thinking visible so that everyone can contribute.

03 — I connect people.

The best ideas rarely come from one discipline.

Throughout my career I’ve helped designers, engineers, marketers and business leaders understand one another, creating shared language that turns great ideas into action.

04 — I ask better questions.

I don’t believe innovation starts with certainty.

It starts with curiosity.

The right question can change the direction of a project, a team or an organisation.

05 — I stay close to the work.

Someone once gave me advice I’ve never forgotten:

“Don’t take your hands off the tools.”

I still sketch.

I still prototype.

I still make.

Because making is thinking.

06 — I leave things better than I found them.

Whether it’s a design team, a workshop, a project or a conversation, my aim is always the same:

Leave people with more clarity, more confidence and more possibility than when I arrived.
